Class Schedules

Online classes remain a great way to improve the way you move in the comfort of your own home.

They’re perfect if you don’t live locally, want to spend less time in transit, or if you simply want to take a class in your pyjamas!

All classes are recorded and added to an on-demand library that you can access whenever you feel the need to move.

Zoom Schedule:

Mondays – 8:30-9 am – Movement Breakfast

Tuesdays – 8:30-9am – Gentle Movement Breakfast

Tuesdays – 10-11:15 am – Fundamentals

Wednesdays – 2-3 pm – Gentle Therapeutic

Fridays – 8:30-9 am – Movement Breakfast 

All class times are Eastern Time; class descriptions are below.

The Spring Session of online classes begins Tuesday, April 2, and live classes continue until Friday, Jun 21.

The registration fee of $270 includes 12 weeks of live classes and 15 weeks of unlimited access to recorded classes (until Sunday, July 14). Register for both the Spring Session and the Hiking Preparation Series and receive a 10% discount on both. 

Registration includes access to all live classes each week as well as unlimited access to the library of over 200 recorded classes.

Late registrations are prorated. Schedule subject to change without notice.

New this Spring – Hiking Preparation Series!

April 10 – May 4, 2024

In this four-week series, you’ll learn about gait mechanics and the anatomy and physiology of walking. You’ll learn and practice movements that will help you become stronger and sure-footed, so you can go for longer hikes and feel less pain and tension in feet, knees and hips. 

Live on-line classes are Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30pm. (April 10, 17, 24, May 1) Classes will be recorded so you can come back to them and practice whenever you want, and you’ll have lifetime access to them.
In each class, we’ll spend time with anatomy and physiology, learn about gait mechanics, and of course move! There will be time for questions and opportunities to help you with your specific issues. 

The fee for the four-week series is $200; register for both the Hiking Series and the Spring Session and receive a 10% discount on both.

Mindful Movement Class Descriptions:

My classes are informed by the therapeutic principles that guide my work as a yoga therapist, and are further influenced by other movement approaches. All of these influences make it difficult to describe my classes – for the time being, I’m calling them “Mindful Movement”. All classes include work to create ease, improve mobility and increase strength and stability. 

Gentle Therapeutic – if you’re working with a recent injury, chronic pain, or recovering from joint replacement surgery, this class is for you! The focus is on learning to move more mindfully, and improving balance and stability without increasing pain.

Mindful Movement Fundamentals – This class is for you if you generally feel well, but have the odd nagging pain that gets in the way of life. The focus is on improving your mind-body connection, increasing coordination, core stability, hip and shoulder mobility. We start with moving well, then play with ways to add load and complexity

Movement Breakfast – A shorter, more dynamic class to get your day started on the right foot. Suitable for most fitness levels.
